Use your travel eSIM as a hotspot
Yes, hotspot works where the phone and network allow it. iPhone: Settings → Personal Hotspot. Samsung: Settings → Connections → Mobile Hotspot and Tethering. Pixel: Settings → Network & internet → Hotspot & tethering.
Do this now
- Make sure the travel eSIM is your mobile data line.
- iPhone: Settings → Personal Hotspot → turn on Allow Others to Join.
- Samsung: Settings → Connections → Mobile Hotspot and Tethering → turn on Mobile Hotspot.
- Pixel: Settings → Network & internet → Hotspot & tethering → Wi-Fi hotspot → turn it on.
- Join from your other device with the name and password shown.

- Check the travel eSIM is your Mobile Data line (Settings → Mobile Service → Mobile Data).
- Open Settings → Personal Hotspot.
- Turn on Allow Others to Join and note the Wi-Fi password.
Samsung Galaxy
- Open Settings → Connections → Mobile Hotspot and Tethering.
- Turn on Mobile Hotspot. Tap it to see the name and password.
Google Pixel
- Open Settings → Network & internet → Hotspot & tethering.
- Tap Wi-Fi hotspot and turn it on.
