Who we are
eSIMology is run by Clockwise Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 15143248). Registered office: 128 Abbeyfields Close, London NW10 7EG. Contact us at hello@esimology.com.
What you buy
A data eSIM: a digital SIM profile for a phone or tablet that supports eSIM, with the data allowance and validity shown on the plan. Plans are data only: they don't include a phone number, calls or texts. Each plan's page lists the countries and networks it uses, the speed, any daily fast-data allowance and the speed after it, and whether it can be topped up.
Your order
When you pay, we create your eSIM and email it to you, usually within seconds, with a QR code, an install link for iPhone and the codes to enter by hand. It is also on your order page. If we can't create it, we refund you in full automatically. A new customer can buy up to 3 eSIMs in a first order, to keep payments safe.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds, euros or US dollars and include any taxes. You pay in the currency shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
Using your eSIM
Check your device supports eSIM and isn't locked to a network before you buy: our phone checker helps. Most plans start when the eSIM first connects to a supported network at your destination; some start on install, as the plan says. Install it within the time the plan shows. Coverage and speed depend on the local networks and your device. Use the eSIM for normal personal use; plans with a daily allowance slow down after it until the next day.
Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel an eSIM that hasn't been installed within 30 days of purchase for a full refund to your payment method, from your eSIM page or by emailing us. By installing an eSIM you ask us to supply the digital content at once, and the 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 ends on installation. If an eSIM is faulty or not as described, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including a repair, replacement or refund: see our refunds policy.
Our responsibility to you
If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable, or for charges your home network makes if your home SIM stays on for data. We don't exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring claims in the courts of England and Wales, or of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
