Will my eSIM have signal in India?

Using your phone in India: data tips
- Arriving: Install your eSIM at home on Wi-Fi, then switch it on when you land at Indira Gandhi (DEL), Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj (BOM) or Kempegowda (BLR). Then turn on data roaming for the eSIM line.
- Getting around: Set up Uber, Ola or Rapido before you fly, then book a ride in Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Agra or Goa. Ride apps need mobile data to book, so keep your eSIM switched on.
- Staying in touch: Message people on WhatsApp, which runs on your eSIM data. Your home number stays on for calls and texts, and the WhatsApp help page explains how to keep both.
- Blocked apps: TikTok and many Chinese-owned apps are blocked in India. Routing your connection through Singapore can help with some of them, and the IP address help page shows how.
