- Install and roam: Set up your eSIM at home, then keep data roaming on for the eSIM line at every border, whether you're heading to Bodrum or Bordeaux. Turn on data roaming.
- Ride apps: Uber is useful in Turkey, Spain, Italy and France. In Spain, look for Cabify and Bolt; in Italy, itTaxi and FREENOW; in Turkey, BiTaksi.
- Messaging: WhatsApp is the one to know in Turkey, Spain, France and the United Kingdom. Telegram is worth having in Italy, and Messenger in France.
- Blocked services: In Turkey, social media can be slowed or restricted during major events, so don't count on it then.
